Move to Mole FM Radio OS in phases
Mole FM can keep the current stream playing through the Mole FM Radio OS player while building an owned relay, AutoDJ, podcast, request, sponsor proof, and white-label radio automation platform.
First-cohort pricing targets are package concepts only: $8.75/month, $15/month, and $70/month targets must be validated against relay bandwidth, storage, support, and licensing costs.
The premier blueprint combines a provider-neutral relay control plane, rights and proof ledger, low-bandwidth player, no-dead-air automation, sponsor and agent-readable ads, and a white-label station factory.
AutoResearch SEO growth engine
Mole FM Radio OS uses a Karpathy-style improvement loop for search growth: observe station-owner search and quote signals, draft one high-intent experiment, score impact against risk, keep safe display improvements, and require owner approval before outbound outreach, pricing promises, or provider comparison claims.
The 25% offer is a target, not a blanket guarantee. A station should submit its current radio hosting bill, stream URL, storage estimate, listener-hour needs, and licensing responsibility before Mole FM confirms a quote.
Zero-cost storage model
The default model is no-audio-custody: Mole FM stores station pages, configuration, metadata, AI DJ scripts, sponsor proof, and links while each customer keeps its own stream, podcast feed, or storage. If Mole FM hosts music libraries or large archives, storage and bandwidth must be capped, passed through, or sold as a paid tier.
Stripe + BYO storage commercial model
Stripe should collect Radio OS subscriptions and setup fees. Customers bring Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2, Supabase Storage, an existing podcast host, RSS feed, or another approved storage source. Managed storage is optional, capped, and paid separately.
A paid station should not be activated until the stream URL, customer-owned storage reference, current provider bill, listener-hour estimate, licensing responsibility, and Stripe payment are verified.
Starter BYO Storage checkout: pay $8.75/month through Stripe. This covers the starter BYO package only; relay and managed storage costs are separate.
Customer relay connection steps
A radio customer can connect to Mole FM Radio OS without moving its whole media library. The station sends its current provider bill, live stream URL or encoder type, customer-owned storage or podcast RSS feed, rights/licensing confirmation, logo, language, and contact details. Mole FM then creates a private station preview, tests the player, and only cuts over publicly after approval.
- Choose a Radio OS package and pay through Stripe or request a quote when relay bandwidth needs review.
- Send the current provider bill so the 25% savings target is based on a real number.
- Confirm broadcast rights for music, news, ads, replays, podcasts, and listener submissions.
- Bring customer-owned storage such as Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2, Supabase Storage, an RSS feed, or approved public media links.
- Connect the live source by existing stream URL, OBS, BUTT, Mixxx, AzuraCast/Icecast relay, hardware encoder, or scheduled fallback playlist.
- Mole FM builds the station page, player, schedule, fallback playlist, sponsor slots, proof report, and agent-readable ad feed.
- Test desktop, mobile, fallback, metadata, sponsor disclosures, requests, dedications, and private diagnostics.
- Connect a domain/subdomain, iframe player, or station link while keeping the old provider ready as rollback.
- Go live with 24-hour monitoring before removing the old provider.
Copy/paste encoder settings
Supported setup paths include OBS, BUTT, Mixxx, AzuraCast/Icecast-compatible relays, hardware encoders, and existing public stream URLs. The dedicated relay endpoint is issued during setup. The target format is https://relay.molefm.com/listen/<station-id>/live.mp3 after uptime, HTTPS, capacity, and source-independence proof. Start with MP3 or AAC at 64-128 kbps for low-bandwidth listening, 44.1 kHz sample rate, and metadata for station, show, title, sponsor disclosure, and rights status when available.
Owned relay target: https://relay.molefm.com/listen/mole-fm-94-5/live.mp3. This target should only become the active public player after HTTPS, uptime, capacity, non-serverless hosting, and non-Zeno source checks pass.
